Josh McAllister
Josh grew up in the Mt. Washington Valley and attended Kennett High School, graduating in 1998. He is originally from Hart’s Location (the smallest town in NH and one of the first in the nation to vote).
A graduate of Clarkson University with a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering, Josh is a Principal at HEB Engineers, Inc. in North Conway and serves as Vice President and Director of Civil Engineering.
Outside of work, Josh has been active in local non-profit work for over 15 years. In addition to the Gary Millen Foundation, Josh has served on the Conway Area Humane Society, Mt. Washington Valley Economic Council, Mt. Washington Valley Housing Coalition, MWV Cal Ripken Baseball and MWV Youth Hockey Association Boards of Directors.
At Kennett High School, Josh is actively involved with the Career Tech Center as a member of the Regional Advisory Committees and the Drafting/Engineering Technology advisory committee. In addition to these roles, Josh is also the Varsity Baseball Coach for Kennett.
Josh has been recognized for his active involvement in the non-profit and business communities of the MWV by New Hampshire Business Review (NH’s Top 200 Influential Business Leaders of 2022), NH Union Leader (40 under forty), Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce (Steve Eastman Community Spirit Award) and the M. Washington Valley Economic Council (John Bruni Award).
Josh lives in Center Conway with His wife Aly and two children Jack and Maren. They also have two dogs, Wrigley and Tilly.
